Principles of the Path and Pillars of the Way

Principles of the Path and Pillars of the Way

Rediscover the traditional methodology to authentic spiritual growth and development.

ABOUT

I was sent but to perfect good character.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (al-Muwatta)

The Messenger of God ﷺ taught that the means to drawing nearer unto the Divine Presence of Allah Almighty is the purification and perfection of one’s character, and that only when we seek internal spiritual excellence do the outward and physical practices of faith truly provide the progress and ascension they are designed to.

Principles of the Path and Pillars of the Way is a unique course that is designed to make accessible the foundational pillars and principles of the classical and traditional spiritual path so as to empower the seeker to advance in his or her journey of spiritual excellence to the Divine Presence of God in the best, fastest and most effective manner possible.

In this course, we cover the importance of excellence in character (akhlaq) and conduct (adab), the incomparable value of association and companionship (suhba), the power of remembrance (dhikr), the necessity for striving (jihad an-nafs), the way of spiritual asceticism and non-attachment (zuhd), and more.
